Functional Fitness Fusion Hybrid Training Program

Whether you are involved in an adult sport league or enjoy optimized training with a coach, the Functional Fitness Fusion Training Program is for you! This program blends elements of the Sports Performance and Functional Fitness programs with an emphasis on strength, fitness, mobility and stability for weekend warriors, former athlets wanting to stay fit, and folks who’d like to enjoy a team training atmosphere. This program aims to get results by getting active–in-person, online in the convenience of your home, and out in your neighborhood! By incorporating a fusion of In-Person Training, DIY Video Workouts, and Programmed Walking Acitivities you can have a training schedule that fits YOUR schedule…and get faster results!

In-Person Training Sessions include:

  • Flexibility, mobility, and balance work
  • Functional and full body strength and core exercises
  • A variety of fun and challenging formats
  • Cardiovascular fitness and work capacity

Online 20min Tabata Workokuts include:

  • Video workouts of simple exercises that you can do anywhere, at any time
  • Regressions and progressions for exercises to accomodate varying levels of ability and fitness
  • Suggestions on ways to decrease or increase the intensity of exercises

Programmed Walking Activities include:

  • Progressive walks (or jogs!) scheduled twice per week to keep you moving
  • Link your smart watch or activity tracker to Trainerize for more analytics
    • Track your distance, heart rate, and other variables to see your improvement!
  • Bring your friends or family to increase the enjoyment 🙂

Intro 6wk Functional Fitness Program

Are you ready!? What are you waiting for? The benefit of a mixed program of in-person, online video mini-workouts, and programmed walks is that you can sneak more training and activity into a busy schedule for better, and faster, results. By making small, incremental, lifestyle changes to improve your health, wellness, and performance you will be less overwhelmed to take the first step.

  • in 2-3 weeks you will start to FEEL the improvements as your body connects with movement,
  • in 4-6 weeks you will start to SEE the changes as your bodies systems start to adapt to training, &

What Do I Need For A Functional Fitness Fusion Training Program?

The FFFT Program is a blended in-person, video, and online program. Coach Andrea’s Training Space will have all of the necessary equipment for the In-Person session, however, a small amount of equipment will be necessary to have for the at home 20min Tabata workouts and a good pair of shoes for the programmed walks.

The 20min Tabata Video sessions will utilize equipment such as a yoga mat, pad, and blocks, TRX Suspension trainers, resistance tubing, stability balls, and possible other items depending on ability and level of desired intensity or challenge. Many of these items may already be in hour house, but a link to my shopping page with recommended equipment is provided below for any items that you may not have. Additional equipment can be used for extra challenges, increased intensity, or injury modifications; options and links can be provided by Coach Andrea if interested.

For the programmed walks please be sure to have a good pair of shoes and a water bottle; walking buddies like friends, family, or neighbors are good too!
